Reflecting upon the school year thus far, what things have gone well with using netbooks in your classroom.  Please list a few items.

A few things that have gone well this year using the netbooks in my classroom have been: utilzing web-based applications such as voki avatars, glogster, and pbworks, utilizing the 5th Grade homepage for linking information and blogging, and incorportating Book Builder in my curriculum.

Reflecting upon the use of netbooks in your classroom this year, what are some simple things that would make them a more useful tool in your classroom.

If the students were able to use the audio and video functions of the netbook to create presentations, a microphone and better headphones (maybe headphones & microphone combined), and an easy fix to default for the desktop/panel.

Please share any further comments, questions, suggestions, or concerns in the provided space.

Using netbooks has been a challenge but it is an incredible opportunity for students to become more engaged in their own learning.
