You only have to login to 1234 the first time and now the computer knows you, you don't do that anymore!

I like the new computers but the computer are to small and it's to hard to type. But there useful and helpful. Instead of using the Mac computer lab.I love these computers. But they can break very easily so we have to be very careful. But i hate that before we used them we had to log on 1234 user and password then log on our user name and password just for it to get internet.

Welcome!
We will be using this blog all year. About once a week or so we will take part of class to blog about what is going on in the chapter, the classroom, and on projects. We will also use it to blog about current events.

With each topic you will be expected to do two things to complete this assignment: (I will be taking a grade on your blogging so it is important to complete it each time we blog.)

1.       First you will reflect on the topic or topics I have given. Use complete sentences and you must write at least a paragraph. (No less than 5 sentence each topic.)

2.       You must read other student's reflections and make at least 3 comments to 3 different reflections. A good sentence will do. These comments should be positive in nature or contain constructive suggestions. Any negative or rude comments will cost you the points for that blog assignment.

You may blog more than the minimum of 3. You are also welcome to return to the blog and add comments at other times during the week.

I am hoping that this blog will give you a voice in the classroom.

Blog for August 28, 2009:

1.       What do you think of the new computer? Were they helpful or not, support your opinion with specific examples.

2.       What do you want from Social Studies? We will be doing projects with the units, what type of activities do you hope to do for these projects? This is your chance to let me know what you like or don't like. If you don't tell me there is no way for me to know, I can't read your mind.
