12-17-09 8BRS My opinion about starting the new ways of doing the packets and test is that i really do enjoy it. I personally learned way more by looking it up myself, instead of just hearing it and writing it down. Having to use my book, look at the pictures, and see all that is throughout the chapter gave me a much better understanding of the whole chapter. Another good thing is time. We spent not nearly as much time taking notes, and It gave us more time to get the test in. I would request we keep doing this until harder lessons that need further explaining than just the book, such as major wars or whatnot. Overall, I liked the way we did this!
