I did not like this at all!.This was by far the worst unit that we have done in history all year. We took down the notes and wile the people were presenting nobody was paying any attention because they all ready had it. Then if somebody did something wrong or left a little bit of info out they did not get full credit. So i think that we should never do this ever again.

I heard people complain about how the did not have a slide down and how they will lose points when that is their fault so they deserve to miss points.

I think the new way we are doing the chapter is great. To me, it is easier to just write it down straight from the book instead of listening and waiting for what to write down on the number. Also, it allowed me to get bonus points, which is also good. When I present, I think it helps me to present better in front of people. The name drawing is also good, because students who do not get their work done will try harder to get their work complete.

There were some things I liked, for one doing the presenting in front of the class for a chance to earn bonus points was fun. I also liked having the freedom whenever you're actually taking the notes. Instead of having to wait on a slide while other people asked questions you can go on to the next slide and finish it. There was one aspect that I did not like. Some of the questions were difficult to find, even with Mrs. Fuller's help. I think that a good way to divide up the chapters would be to have the very long important chapters where Mrs. Fuller tells us the notes, and the shorter easier chapters where we do them ourselves and present them to the classroom.

I really enjoyed the new way of doing the packets. By looking the information up, I learned and remember more. I also liked the five bonus points for presenting. To make it better, I would let students choose if they want to present or not. This new way made the chapter easier to understand, and I would definitely do it again.

12-17 8L LMH I think that the new way of doing the chapter is really great. I like it because we can work at our own pace and its not as time consuming as the old way. I didn't like the old way as much because either we were going to fast and i didn't get all the information or we went really slow and it seemed to take forever to get done. I think that the only thing i would change is that when there is only enough slides for a few people in the class to present for bonus that the other kids are excluded from the bonus points. Its not very fair to the kids who didn't get their number drawn, even when they deserve the points more than other people who get the points. I don't have any ideas about how we could do the chapter. Merry Christmas!

This quarter we tried something new for the chapter. I liked what we did because it allowed us to better memorize the facts and it was easier to get through the whole chapter at a faster rate. The only thing that i did not like was that not everyone in the class got to present. I think that maybe we should switch off every chapter or so, so that the people who do not like it can have their time and the people who like it can do it that way. Also, if the people who like the new way for the fact that it is quicker to take notes, then they can take the notes out of the book on their own. I think that this way of doing notes was a very good idea.

I think that the new way of doing the chapter is better than the old way. That way you have to wright something good for everything. So that way you cant just wright like 2 words for a thing and be done with this is better. But some people think different and i cant dis agree with them because some people hate public speaking. So in my opinion this was the best chapter ever. Also i really do think that you should defiantly do this more for another chapter or maybe more. This is defiantly something that you should keep going for years to come.

I really like the new way of doing things because this counts as you getting in front of the class. It also takes a lot less time then having Mrs. Fuller say the same exact thing over and over again. It could probably be better if their was a bigger chapter so that then everyone will be able to get a turn. I would love to do this strategy again. I would like like to do that same strategy, as well as do the notes on the computer, that would be really cool.

12-17 8L SS I really liked how we did this chapter. I think that finding the information myself helped me to remember things. I also enjoyed presenting the slides because if you forgot a piece of information and another student talked about it in their presentation, we could easily add it into our notes, and i like to present things like that to the class. and i lost 4 bonus and got them all back and an extra one. So overall, i think things should stay the way they are and we should present to the class more!:)

I think that this is a promising way of doing our notes and our tests. But it just isn't going to work with 8G. And i'm shure that it workedd fine with any of the other classes but we just talk to much. And im not saying any names cough (nathen) cough.

I really liked the way that we did the notes for this chapter, because doing it on your own really helped me understand the chapter more. Plus doing it on my own made it easier for me to study for the test because when it came down to studying I had already knew most of the answers! It could be better if maybe you had two students do a slide so that everyone could get a chance. I would really recommend doing this again because I believe that this would make my test scores go up. If we were to do something different I think that you should have 2 kids go up at a time! I really enjoyed doing this!!

I enjoyed the new way of doing the chapter. I liked it because it made the chapter more fun to study. It makes students more active in learning, instead of being bored and taking constant notes from the teacher, this way is quicker and more relaxed. If you miss something you can just go back in the book, instead of holding up the whole class, making everyone irritated at you. i would like to do this way again.

8-G JL I thought this method was not as good as the old way. It was harder for me to learn by finding answers in the book. It gave me more homework and it always had me second guessing if I had the right notes. The handout took more time than the old one so it was not as much as effective as the old method.
