investigated invasive plants and their impact
on the local ecosystem. As part of their
investigation they developed action plans that
included volunteering at a local nature preserve.
Students spent the morning removing garlic
mustard from Green Earth Inc.'s "David Kenney
Trail". This is the 4th year 6th Grade students
served their community by volunteering and
improving the local ecosystem as well as
improving their understanding of local ecosystem
functions. During this Problem Based Learning
