He tried to be polite to others. He is working hard to control himself and his getting better. Reverend Hunt told him to be kind.

He is trying to be nicer and kinder so he could work together.

He was trying to be nice and doesn't hit them,doesn't call them names, and ignores them.

Samuel wants to try to cooperate with them and he asks to work together with them. Samuel is trying hard to be kind.

Hew tried to be nicer and not insult or heart them mentally. 

He is trying to stop calling them hurtful names or getting into a fight with others.

He is trying to be nicer and kinder. He wants to work with them not without them.

Samuel is trying to be nicer to James and Richard by yelling less, Not insulting them, and not hitting them. He wants to cooperate with them too.

He tries to help with them and they still be mean to them

He tried to work with them but they didn't trust him.He also was polite to them.

Samuel tried to be nicer to the boys by trying to work with them instead of working alone, and he tried to save James's life.

Samuel tries to get along with the boys better by helping them and not fighting or punching them.

Samual is trying to be nice to the other boys because he has learned his lesson from Captain Smith and Reverand is telling him also to be nicer to the boys. It is hard for him, but he hasn't hit them or yelled at him, besides the fact that Samual tried to save James. It never worked.

Sameul tries by being comforting and trying to save him from the attack from dying.

James is dead so he doesn't have to be nice to him anymore.But he tried to be nice to him while he lived. He tries not to hit Richard,insult them,and not calling him stupid names.

Samuel is a industrious person for me. Samuel first tries to work with them but then Richard thinks that he still won't be nice to them.So now he is trying his best to ignore them and is now trying to be nice to them.

He want to be nice and kinder.His want to work with them.

He doesn't call them mean names and doesn't hit them. He tries to work with them but they think that he will hurt them. (Who can blame them.) He tries to save James but he gets away. He helps Richard during the Indian attack too by telling him to get under the mattress.

What steps is Samuel taking to try and get along better with Richard and James?


He is trying his best to listening to Reverend Hunt and trying not to get in trouble with them. And like not using his fist, and not saying bad names. He calms himself and is being reminded to use love instead of anger.
