 In this chapter Greg is kidnapped for at least 6 days. He was taken to some sort of prison and was dizzy from hunger the whole time. He watches a soccer game that hiss kidnappers take him to. Finally, he is set free and they throw a party for him.

Greg is kidnapped while in Haji Mirza's home. He figures out that Tara is pregnant with a girl, and meets a man named Khan. Then he watches a soccer game, and has a party before he is set free shcools, and gets rupee notes to build many schools.

Greg's wife is pregnant and due in one month and Greg was in Peshawar. Haji Ali said not to trust anyone without them inviting him in first and them having a cup of tea first. He is kidnapped by Haji Mirza while he slept and then blindfolded. He read about how there was sixty-six american captives in Iran. The magazine was a Time magazine that was 17 years old. He was then moved and watched football. He thought about excaping but then he saw a small gun tower. He was then let go. It was decided by the Jirga. the village council.

1). Greg went through something that happens often,he got kidnapped. He was horribly afraid at the time. His thoughts were that they will "either let me go or will they kill me". They have been so far "nice" to him for being kidnapped.

Gregs wife was giving birth in a month. He was a director for the south Asian Institute. He was in a hurry and he met this guy named Haja Mirza and Greg asked to get a ride and when they got out of the car they were at a smuggler gun factory. And then Greg woke up, people were shouting he was kidnapped!!! And they put him in a truck and drove to a place and when they stopped on the side of the road and pulled him out and put him in a cell.

Greg gets held prisoner in Peshawar for a very long time. He is very scared as most people would be.  Then he gets put into a truck with a blanket over his head, and when they arrive they are at at a party. Khan explained that this was a celebration because they are taking Greg back to Peshawar.

Greg is a director of the Central Asia Institute and his wife is almost giving birth in a month. Greg reached Haji Mirza's home and when he was awaken by the sound of men yelling, he woke up with a lamp in his face and was blindfolded, he was kidnapped! Greg remembered his family and Greg told Khan (the kidnapper) that Tara was going to give birth to a baby son Greg knew the baby was going to be a girl, but in their religion it was a big deal having a son. Greg told them that because he thought they would let him go.

He was taken captive. He was stuck in a cell. In the end he they threw a party before he left.

Even though he told Khan that the baby was a boy. They through a party for him and he was set free at the party there were people dancing it was all for a celebration.  

First Greg Wife got pregnant and is having a boy baby.Then Greg got kidnapped by the Marzipans and was wondering what would he do.Then they had threw him a party because their council told them to before they took him back to Marzipan to keep him.

When Greg tried to get home, for the birth of his daughter, after he looked for good places to put another school for the Central Asia Institute,the institute that Greg was the director of,  he was blindfolded and stuffed into the back of a pick-up truck. He was held captive for over sixteen days by a man who wanted Greg to call him Khan. On the last day of his captivity, he was taken to a party at four A.M. The party was held by jirga, or the village council, to celebrate the schools that Greg was going to build.

Tara was giving birth to Greg's baby. Greg was leaving Balti & went to Peshawar. A man greeted him when he entered Peshawar. Americans aren't actually welcome there. The man brought him to his home. Greg fell asleep & then suddenly. A MAN ATTACKED HIM WHEN HE WOKE UP WITH A GUN POINTED AT HIM. HE WAS BLINDFOLDED & TAKEN PRISONER. THEY PUT HIM IN A CELL WHEN HE WAS KIDNAPPED. AND WHEN HE WOKE UP, HE SAW A TIME MAGAZINE NEXT TO HIM.

Greg was wandering off in Afghanistan when Haji Ali told him not to.
He went to someone's house and stayed there. The next morning, Greg found himself in a dark room, locked. For eight days, he stayed there. Finally, he got released by a nice man.

he was kidnapped and he was going to get killed. But they let him watch a soccer game on tv. he was set free after they had a party.

Greg gets kidnapped by Khan. He wants to get away so he tries to make a realationship with Khan so he can visit Tara because she is preganant. He soon figures they do a party to set him free and like him as a good person, one person even gave him rupees so he can build a school.
