1. Because it would have been very impolite to talk before served.

2. He gets to Korphe but then the people there tell him has to build a bridge to get the supplies across to there town.

3.They were traveling to get Greg's supplies for the bridge and they were hungry so they started to look for ibex to hunt. When they found a big male they prayed shortly to themselves in hope that they would hit the male so they could eat it and they did they hit the ibex and feasted on it and they brought it back to the village to share with the hunters family.

1) So he doesn't be rude and Haji Ali was not know why Greg came back.

2)Korphe needed a bridge for the river that is so dangerous to cross because they cross on a box.

3)It was almost the same if the Balti had to find a guy they would then return to the place they would have to go to use this guy as help. So when they were looking for Greg's supplies they will find it and return to they're task at hand.

1- he drank the tea first because it might have shown a sign of respect, and to be polite

2- they had to build a bridge before they could even start to build the school, because all that they had was a little box that you had to pull your self across in to get to the other side.

3- greg helped the people of korphe go on an ibex hunt, the traditions of the people are that before you climb the high mountain you bring your tomar, which is said to protect you from evil spirits and help you climb the steep mountain slopes and not fall.

3) While Greg waits for the rain would stop so he could build the bridge he goes on a hunting trip for an Ibex it looks like a large mountain goat. During the seven days when they were hunting they crossed a large glacier where Twaha gave Greg a tomar a spiritual omen to keep him safe. On the fourth day they spot a dead Ibex picked dry by vultures, but then they spot a herd of sixteen but on a high ledge above them. Twaha on the seventh day shoots one high above them, a big one, one of the men cuts it up with a sharp knife. When they get back to the village the rain has stopped and they can start working.
          This hunt is important because it shows great respect and it serves as food for the Balti people. Also the horns are very important to them.

     3.Greg went on a big hunt for ibex with four men from korphe and twaha Haji ali's son . it was a dangerous journey and no balti would cross a glacier with out a tomar or badge of courage to keep the evil spirits away. Greg did this because of tradition.

Him and the people in Korpke went on a ibex hunt and hit the ibex and had a feast and took it back to the village.

3)Greg and the other hunters were hunting until the weather clears so Greg and the hunters went to hunt ibex which  is like a goat but has curly horns. so in 4 days they spotted there first ibex which was died and vultures ate the meat of the ibex then they spotted other ibexes then they ran so then when found one again twaha shoot the ibex

2.he had to earn more money to build a bridge that could get him a cross the braldu river to get to korphe .
3.they poses goat horns as the same for the meat

3. Men from Korphe went to go get the cable and bring it to Korphe, and they decided to go ibex hunting and it's good if you hit one because they treasure the ibex horns as much as the meat.

1) It is polite to eat or drink what you have been given.

2) He now has to build a bridge so that he can get the school to Korphe.

3) They went hunting for Ibex and found dead one, and they gave the horns and skull to Greg as a prize. Then they found a big male and they pray to Allah hoping to kill it, and they do. Then they skin it in a cave and take the meat home to Korphe. It shows how important this is to the Balti.

2. The new obstacle Greg had to face was getting enough money to build a bridge.
3.The hunt that Greg participated in was that he went to the kitchen and made tea, this made Sakina think of him as her son.

3. When they started hunting they first found a dead Ibex and they kept the skull and the horns. The they saw a herd of sixteen Ibex, but the Ibex ran away. Finally they spotted a male Ibex and killed it. To me it seems like the people of Korphe really enjoy they Ibex and seem a little superstitious because of the badge thing where they put on a badge that is supposed to keep evil spirits away.

2.He had to build a bridge to transport the supplies that he got to build the school. It was hard for Mortenson because he lost his job and his girlfriend.

3.No woman among Balti is to touch a man who isn't related to her.

1. The reason why Greg Mortenson drank tea before talking about the school is because in Korphe, it is impolite to talk before being served.
2. He had to build a bridge to get the school supplies from the other side, and it costs thousands of dollars to build a school, but Greg Mortenson sent all his money on the school supplies.
3. When they started hunting, the first thing they found was a dead ibex. The horn of the ibex is very valuable in Korphe. So,  the people kept the horn and not the rest of the ibex, almost.

Finally they found Idex and killed the Idex.I think people in
Korphe enjoy hunting Idex.

1) Greg waited to talk to Hali until after they had tea because it would be rude to do it before.
2)Greg faces that he is going to have to build a bridge first instead of the school.  This bothered Greg at first but he also knew that if the bridge was not built it would be almost impossible to get the supplies there.
3)Greg got to climb over glaciers and up a mountain to go and hunt Ibex.  But before they went he was given a tomar or a badge of courage.  He learned that it took a lot of patience to kill an Ibex something he didn't have much of.  He also learned that the people of Korphe appreciate everything they have because they may not always have it.

1) because it will make Haji Alli comfertable brfore he know Greg is going build the school for them.

2) The people of Korphe tell Greg that he has to build a bridge so that he can get the sullpies to make the school.

3) The gun that they were usseing was different then what Greg would use in the U.S. The gun was loulder then what greg also would use.

3.Sitting by the fire in Haji ali's home, Greg's mind raced.

(1) Because in their culture you must be served before you speak.

(2) In chapter 8 Greg reaches Korphe but the problem is he has to get the supplies over to the other side which he has to build a bridge.

(3) Because all the cities in Baltistan are poor and need a school but Greg only has enough money for one his life gets harder by seconds.

On the seventh day of hunting they came to a big male ibex. Twaha gave a silent prayer to Allah (God). When they fired the gun they shot the large animal. Then they shared it with the Korphe people.
