Parent PBIS Survey: View Response #28

Please check all grade levels that your child or children are in this year.

Pre-k

What do you know about PBIS?

Nothing?

Have you heard or know about the Trojan Traits: Respectful, Responsible & Ready?

Yes

Does your child show you or talk with you about receiving Trojan Tickets?

Yes

If your child talks about receiving Trojan Tickets, what do they say they recieve them for?

Following the rules, being helpful and respectful

Do you feel your child's behavior has improved in any area based on the receipt of Trojan Tickets?

No

If you feel your child's behavior has improved based on the receipt of Trojan Tickets please explain how.

I don't feel that my child's behavior has improved significantly based on the reciept of the Trojan Tickets.  She has been taught to show respect and behave.  I do, however, feel that the Tickets serve as an encouragement for following the rules that she already knows.

Has your child talked with you about spending their Trojan Tickets at the Trojan Store?

Yes

If your child has talked with you about the Trojan Store, what do they say?

There has only been one time throughout the year that she has told me that she's been to the store.  I don't know if her class has been any more as she has not said.  She seemed to enjoy going the time she spoke about it and having the opportunity to "shop".

Do you feel your child has positive support when it comes to his/her behavior at school?

Yes

What could be done to improve the behavioral support your child is receiving?

Overall, I don't really know.  She has been very fortunate to have a very positive teacher who works well and encourages all the students in the class.  Her teacher does a wonderful job of working with the students when they may "slip up".  She reminds them of the rules and is consistent with follow through.

I would also like to clarify.  My daughter is in Kindergarten.  There was not a Kindergarten choice at the beginning of the survey--just Pre-K.
