1:Jean Hoerni was proud of the Central Asia Institute because he was VERY happy that they had finished the school. Even though Jean was upset about dying he gave the Institute 1 million dollars!

1. One of my favorite things was that Aslam, when he was a little boy his father woke him up really early and told him he was going to school. They walked down the mountain, and to get to the school you would have to swim,but Aslam didn't know how to swim. He got scared so he started crying, but a stranger said not to be afraid.
2. My second favorite part was that Aslam daughter Shakeela was the first girl from her village to go beyond elementary school.
