Super!! :-) I truly do not know how you have gone so long without it. I appreciate having the connection when I need it. The global connection - anytime, anywhere - is so vital anymore. I definitely use the web more than phone and cannot imagine being without (though I am sure I would be much more rested and serene). You are coming to the EETT meeting on Thursday, aren’t you?
I realized, after only a few sessions, I was using the wrong computer. Everywhere I looked people were using Macs and FireFox for their web browsers. In the sessions, when the speaker asked, “who is using a pc with Internet Explorer,” hardly anyone raised their hands (including me). I had the opportunity to speak with educators from all over the U.S. All of whom had a Mac and used it flawlessly with podcasting, blogs, video editing, you name it. It is so hard making change in general, but with technology, it is even harder. I came home, made the purchase of a Mac Book Pro and should have it any day now. I must confess however, I am going to put both operating systems on it, but primarily use Apple.
