Unity Point School District 140 > UP History > Pomona Ridge School

Pomona Ridge School is located at the intersection of School House Road and Springer Ridge Road.  It has an entire wall of windows to supply light for the classroom. It also had separate boys and girls cloakrooms and outdoor bathroom facilities.

Mr. R.C. "Gabe" Elliot, local area resident, and former Pomona Ridge student, holds artifacts from the school.

When the school bell was rung, the "students took up their books".

The school primer in the frame is made of fabric.
