In the story the literal form is when Greg and the people of Korphe were building a bridge to Korphe. The figurative form in the story is how Greg and the people of Korphe start to bond by having cups of tea.

2)In Chapter 11 Greg meets Tara the woman of his dreams and only after a few days they get married. Greg makes up for the time not knowing his wife by rescheduling his trip to Korphe.

2) He finds out he doesn't have enough money to build a school and everyone thinks he poor because he has no socks.
