1.Mortenson states that war on terror "will ultimately be won with books, not bombs." Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Please explain.
1. I do agree because what he means is that at the end there should not be harm but knowledge.
2.How is education like water?
An education is like water because you have to have it to get through with life. You need water to live and you need an education so your not stupid.
3. How is life like climbing a mountain?
It's hard to climb a mountain and it's hard to get through life smoothly and calmly so there is something in common with climbing a mountain and life.

1 I agree because knowledge is very important.
2 It is very important in life.

1. I agree because the power of books is way much stronger than silly old bombs and books equal to learning and knowledge and bombs equal to absolutely nothing!
2. Because water is important for everything in live, and so is learning and getting an education.
3. Climbing a mountain is hard work and so, life there are many things that is hard work in life for example school, work, and ever day society. Especially, friendship troubles.

1 I don't agree with Greg because if you use knowledge instead of weapons then you can't win a war, if you educate people that still might not stop them from becoming terrorists because they could be pressured into it.

1a. I agree because if you just keep trying to out do people with better weapons, the fighting will go on forever and will just get worse with time, but if you teach people the wonders of thee  outside world people will not want to destroy them and make peace with other countries, not war.

3a. There are lots of ups, downs, and ruff edges.

because we need edu to live and we need water to live
