1. He was very happy with the final results of the finished school. even though he was angry about dying, we he thought about how the children sang, he anger drained away. and also He boasted to a childhood friend about how he helped build a school in Pakistan

2.That everyone in the village wanted to hold Amira, like some kind of baby doll, it seemed very intriguing and kinda heart-warming. At the peak of Mt. everest, They built a school for Balti porters to train for mountain climbing and learn first aid.

1:Jean Hoerni was proud of the Central Asia Institute because he was VERY happy that they had finished the school. Even though Jean was upset about dying he gave the Institute 1 million dollars!

1. One of my favorite things was that Aslam, when he was a little boy his father woke him up really early and told him he was going to school. They walked down the mountain, and to get to the school you would have to swim,but Aslam didn't know how to swim. He got scared so he started crying, but a stranger said not to be afraid.
2. My second favorite part was that Aslam daughter Shakeela was the first girl from her village to go beyond elementary school.

1. Heroni is proud that the school is finished and bragged to a childhood friend about how he helped build a school in Pakistan. He was angry about dying but when he heard the children singing, his anger drained away.
2. How everyone wanted to hold with Amira. It was sweet and mushy.

 1)He is clearly proud about his role in it because:
a) he boasts to an overseas friend, and
b) he donated $1,000,000,000 to the CAI.
 2) The 1st thing that interests me is the fact that the CAI built 3 schools in 3 months when it took Greg 3 years to build 1 on his own.The 2nd thing is that Shakeela's dad thought he would have to plead with Greg like a little man, but didn't, he found out.

1. He was happy that he could help with the finishing of the school and that the children were made him happy because they sang him a song called Mary had a little lamb.
2. That every one extremely wanted to the new baby Amira like they never seen a baby before.Which was very funny and about the man who Mulllah Gulzar, who had tears in his eyes because he had nothing to give him in honor of thanks. That was kind of sad.

2  It was interesting to hear that the womens needs were fixed too, because they made a Women's Vocational Center in Korphe.

1.Hoerni  is proud because when he opens the envelope he says it magnificent, and he smiles.He also helped donate 1 million dollars.  
2.It interest me that his wife and his baby went to  celebrate the opening of the school, it interest me because he bought his baby with only 8 months old.It also interest me because everyone competed to hold Amira.

I think it was cool that the whole village wanted  fought over holding Amira ,becuase I've never heard of somthing like that and she must've been really  cute

2.One detail is that shakeela didn't care what the other boys said and she became the top student and was the first person to move from elementry school to high school.
She said she wanted to become a doctor and that she only has seen a little bit of the world when there is so much more to be seen.

2.They have school uniforms, this interests me because I thought they might not be able to buy them. Another thing is they accounted for every rupee they spent even though they didn't have that good of an education.

2 After school the boys went away to find jobs and the women stayed. It interests me that the women stay and the men don't. The other thing that interests me is Greg stopped everything he was doing for that one village because it is hard to do something like that.
